Air Systems Inc. is a TOTAL FACILITIES SOLUTION for HVAC, Architectural Sheet Metal, Preventive Maintenance & Service, Electrical, High Purity Process Piping, Plumbing, Building Automation Systems and Energy Solutions.** **Job Title: BAS Field Engineer/Programmer** **Job Summary: The BAS Field Engineer will work with our clients on creating a database of control programs and systems, programming, and installing the Control Systems for the clients’ buildings. This is a non-exempt position, subject to overtime and reports to the Field Engineering Supervisor.** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Creating Controls Program and Systems Database - Working with Installation Team to cross check and document correct installation of wiring and control devices - Testing of control programs - Integrate system to on-board micro-processors - Documentation of systems’ compliance with design - Provide control drawings to engineering/drafting group - Provide test documentation to customer** **Qualifications:** **•Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred** **• 5+ Years Controls Experience** **• Ability to read construction blue prints and electrical schematics** **• Knowledge of HVAC control systems required** **• Knowledge of electrical schematics required** **• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks** **• Strong knowledge of MS Office, Windows XP, file structure, basic TCP/IP network structure and web navigation** **• Knowledge of Visio a plus but not required** **• Knowledge of ALC Controls and/or other DDC Controls** **• Clean Driving Record Required** **• Able to lift 30 lbs.** **• Excellent Interpersonal skills** **• Excellent oral/written communication skills** **• Excellent customer relations skills** **• Excellent organization skills** **• Ability to problem solve** **• Team Player** **• Flexible** **• Able to work in a fast-paced environment** **• Creative use of skills and resources to get the job done** **Air Systems, Inc.
