JOB PURPOSE:
Planning, developing, and managing the design and construction phases of multiple construction projects
across Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. while assuring contract compliance and adherence to detailed plans
and specifications. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for completing projects according to
schedules and within budget. This includes defining the projects objectives and overseeing quality
control throughout its life cycle. The Senior Program Manager will partner with key organizational and
operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals, and objectives for each initiative. This
includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects
according to plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan, estimate, schedule, and oversee project implementation through completion of project.
2. Provides lead role on mid-sized to large projects valued at $25 million or higher; building strong
cross-functional relationships to ensure that all stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
3. Provide leadership in project safety, quality, and infection prevention.
4. Provide project management support as it relates to technical support, budgeting and scheduling.
5. Interface with client staff, property managers and vendors.
6. Oversee design process and review architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings and
specifications.
7. Work with consultants to review and resolve overall project issues.
8. Coordinate vendor selection process according to Piedmont policy including; preparation of RFP bid
packages for various consultants, vendors, and contractors; reviewing proposals for scope of work,
specification compliance and prepare comparison sheets.
9. Creates, maintains, and updates project documentation including work plans, status reports, and
issue logs.
10. Mentoring multiple project managers and coordinators.
11. Review and recommend payment requisitions to Project Accountable Executive for approval.
12. Develop, communicate and manage project schedule in conjunction with the Accountable Executive.
13. Accountable for developing and monitoring project performance indicators.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as, in a collaborative, team
environment.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrated strong organizational, technical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with the following computer applications: Microsoft Office,
Flowchart/Visio and Database Applications.
Data analysis and PC software, including presentation software, spreadsheets, and Word
processing.
Advanced computer skills.

Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Seven (7) years of progressive experience as Superintendent, Resident Engineer, Program Manager,
Project Manager and/or Construction Manager.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional license or credential consistent with the work (PE, CCM, PMP, or LEED AP BD C) is
preferred.
Strong estimating capabilities, project planning experience.
Hospital construction management experience is preferred.
