As a Material Handler, you will assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects, and stores incoming materials and supplies. Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.Requirements Packages, bands, and stretch wraps all outgoing shipment according to CCT procedures and customer requirementsWeigh material after production to ensure it meets the standard requirementLoads and unloads trucks & slittersDaily organization of adhesive storage room and raw material warehouseOperate a Forklift and machinery throughout shiftOperate tier lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving to platform to storage or work areasFollow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiativesAssist and support other team members in meeting department and site goalsParticipate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facilityCompletion of any specific projects assignedOther duties as needed/required to meet company goals RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, trade school, or combination of training and experience3+ years of relevant manufacturing Material Handler experienceAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAble to work overtime, including short-notice requestsMotivated, takes initiative, and possesses a strong work ethicAbility to multitask within a structured environmentExtraordinary organization skills, strong time management skills, and exceptional communication skillsAbility to follow electrical schematics and drawingsPossess the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environmentCapacity to work with limited supervision, independently, and as a team memberMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelinesAble to work normal and/or extended office hours to meet established deadlinesWorks in a production facility environment 100% of the timeWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required, for the duration of the workday to stand, carry, lift and move 75 or more pounds, work in a facility with high noise levels and extreme cold and hot temperaturesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsCCT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
