Job Description

Systems Engineer in the North American team responsible for engine management systems (EMS) in the two-wheeler and powersports segment. This team is the interface between customer engineering and Bosch development teams. Primary responsibility is to manage technical requirements.

This includes;

Create system requirement specifications for functional changes.

Coordinate customer EMS requirements and implementation with other Bosch systems and teams on same vehicles (for example, ABS, MSC).

Coordinate validation of functional changes with software, hardware and calibration teams, as well as other Bosch system teams working on same vehicle, and the customer.

Lead technology and innovation discussions with customers in the area of EMS.

Coordinate and participate in discussions with customers regarding functional safety, legal compliance and cybersecurity.

Qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Engineering 5+ years technical experience with engine management systems for mobility systems

Preferred: B.S or M.S in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer interface and organizational skills. Motorcycle endorsement. Strong understanding of engines and powertrains. Experience with motorcycles and off-road recreational vehicles. Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM Rational DOORS. Experience with engine and/or chassis dynamometer testing. International experience. Experience with Bosch Powertrain Solutions software development process and tools. Experience with modern EMS calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, Matlab/Simulink, Vektor CANalyzer.
