Plant Finance Manager - Job Description

The role of the Plant Finance Manager is pivotal in steering the financial health and operational efficiency of the manufacturing unit. This esteemed position demands a strategic thinker, adept in the nuances of financial analysis, cost accounting, and financial systems management.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Lead rigorous financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This includes evaluating financial implications of operational strategies, conducting profitability analysis, and identifying areas for financial optimization.
  • Cost Accounting: Implement and oversee a robust cost accounting framework. You will be responsible for tracking and analyzing manufacturing costs, providing insights on cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring accurate cost reporting.
  • Financial Systems: Spearhead the development and optimization of financial systems. You will leverage technology to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance financial data visibility across the organization.

The Plant Finance Manager will collaborate closely with the operational leadership to ensure financial strategies are effectively aligned with operational goals. Your expertise will not only guide the plant towards financial sustainability but also contribute to its growth and competitive edge. Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management, ideally in a manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving financial processes.
