Job Summary : The selectees will serve as Financial Management Analysts within the NAWCWD Program & Business Analysis Department supporting a major NAWCWD Mission Area, and will be accountable for budget execution responsibilities and ensuring compliance with Navy & local Financial Management policies and guidance. The analysts will make determinations and perform or advise in any of the phases or systems of budget and financial management. Duties: Interpret financial policies, procedures, and requirements to identify, justify and prepare budgets for the assigned customer. Confirm the availability and sufficiency of funds, including period of performance and the bonafide need rule. Assist and/or develop and defend workload estimates based on assigned customers financial requirements. Interpret and apply DoD Financial Management Regulations, appropriations law, Navy & local policies. Utilize Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) business and financial system to extract, analyze, and interpret business and financial reports and all data combined therein.
