Quality Assurance Inspector

Audubon is currently seeking a Quality Assurance E I Inspector to join our team in our Metairie, LA Office. The Quality Assurance Inspector is the client's representative to oversee and inspect General Contractor and sub trades on behalf of the Owner. This person also inspects application with respect to specification, code, drawings and contract requirements. The Inspector will report to a Construction Manager or Project Manager and may support additional craft inspection as necessary.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee Quality Inspections of General Contractor and sub trades on behalf of the Owner
- These duties include signing off of ITPs and check sheets with respect to completion of work
- Reviewing as built documentation and ensuring it is being completed
- Oversite of all NDE
- Visual inspections of welding and general fabrication and tracking repairs
- Witness testing Hydro testing flushing etc.
- Reviewing and assisting General Contractor with Construction Hand over documentation and being a sign off authority for acceptance
- Punch listing close out verifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- 10+ years of experience in construction required
