Picker/Packer

**Job Description** + Processing each order completely and accurately + Packing the orders in a safe, effective and efficient manner; verifying order accuracy by order number, product quantity and shipping each order + Ensure special safety precautions and/or equipment is maintained + Awareness of storage techniques and locations, space allocation, & stock rotation + Sort and prepare merchandise for RMA request + Create and manage vendor and internal transfer documentation + Prepare merchandise for shipping with necessary and correct documentation + Responsible for the verification and accuracy of all outgoing shipments + Responsible for loading packages onto carriers as needed + Responsible for physical inventory count in assigned area + Test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems + Provide driver information for merchandise to relevant departments + Supporting technical support activities between outbound and vendors + Maintain a clean working area + Other duties, responsibilities, and tasks may be required and/or assigned as necessary **Requirements** + Previous experience working within Fulfillment, Warehousing, or Manufacturing preferred. + Excellent verbal communications skills + Must be physically capable of repetitive standing, lifting, bending and stooping for long period of time **Essential Mental & Physical Function** + Walking, stooping, standing, stretching, bending, lifting and sitting for long periods of time + Ability to work under extreme environments such as high heat and cold weather + Requires minimum lifting ability of 40 pounds; may require heavy lifting of 50+ pounds with assistance of team members and/or equipment **Work Environment** Job will be performed in a warehouse environment that may be noisy, dirty, hot and/or cold. + Position is currently 9am - 6pm but will switch to 7am - 7pm during peak seasons. + The warehouse is located in Union City. **Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
