The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high volume of accounts receivable transactions, including processing over 250 AR invoices monthly, handling ACH transactions, and managing credit card payments. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Client Communication: Communicate with clients to address questions regarding invoices, payment terms, and account status. Follow up on overdue accounts as necessary. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including invoices, payments, and adjustments. Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date. Reporting: Assist in preparing AR reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections, and other financial analyses as required. Collections: Coordinate with the collections team to manage overdue accounts and implement collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations in all AR processes. System Maintenance: Utilize accounting software to input and track transactions, generate reports, and support overall financial operations. Qualifications for Accounts Receivable/AR Accountant: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related financial roles with a proven ability to manage high volumes of transactions, including ACH and credit card payments is highly desirable. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
