How you will create an impact: Utilize accounting principles and techniques to obtain, interpret, record, and analyze a variety of data from all business types to assist in the quantification and the measurement of commercial business insurance claims. Work with a team and supervisors and be mentored during the introduction of forensic accounting or the further development of their forensic experience. Familiarity with Commercial Property and Cyber Coverages and their application. Work with other subject matter experts and ability to apply their findings into a loss measurement. Compute alternative measurement computations to assist in settlement of claims. Good organizational and communication skills necessary to track and document progression on claims. Must be detail-oriented, have problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, proactive, and have forward-thinking skills. Some travel is required. What we’re looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Possess a solid knowledge of accounting and auditing theory and application of accounting and business theory. 3+ years of Insurance Loss Analysis experience preferred. Demonstrate strong knowledge and working experience of MS Office program, including Excel. CPA preferred or prerequisites to sit for the CPA Exam. Strong interpersonal skills, effective time management and organizational skills. Strong analytical tools and a candidate that can assist in presenting conclusions in precise, accurate, and usable forms to allow decision makers to make informed decisions.
