The ideal candidate would be a custodian who is careful and thorough in their work, cleaning and tidying the premises with great care and an eye for detail. Works as part of a team to carry out cleaning tasks to ensure standards are maintained such as storm water control and maintaining silos.Position Summary:Ensures cleaning tasks assigned by supervisor are carried out in a timely fashionUtilizes proper training to clean up potentially hazardous materials or contact the appropriate authorities to handle such incidentsOrganizes cleaning items, disinfectants and other materials kept in storage, as well as cleaning equipmentRequires repetitive and physically demanding tasks such as bending, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods of timeUses proper signage to communicate company informationRegularly empties trash and recycling in designated areasFollows cleaning routine and schedule as set by supervisor including inside/outside facility housekeepingWorks on special projects as assigned such as painting and using hand and power toolsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Proven working experience as a Custodian is preferredPrior experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment a plusSafety orientedAttention to detailWorks with little or no supervisionMust be able to tolerate seasonally hot and cold working environmentAbility to work within a team environment. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
