Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and highly motivated Golang Developer to join our Engineering team. This role is crucial in designing and developing high-quality systems that ensure a seamless and smooth customer experience. You will be responsible for system design & architecture, with a focus on developing large-scale distributed systems.

As a Golang Developer, you'll provide technical leadership and vision in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of existing and new services in a multi-region configuration. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet our client's high standards of excellence.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in the automotive industry, contributing to the development of next-generation vehicle systems and cloud-based solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop REST application program interfaces (APIs) and Webservices
  • Maintain REST API documentation using Swagger and create design documentation
  • Document work and engage in quality testing/validation for changes or improved features before customer release
  • Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases
  • Work on AWS cloud platform including EKS
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
  • Collaborate with Leads and team members to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates
  • Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers, working collaboratively
  • Contribute to system design & architecture for large-scale distributed systems
  • Provide technical leadership in the implementation and rollout of services in multi-region configurations

Required Experience/Skills

  • 4-5 years of total software development experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience with Golang
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevOps, cloud engineering, and software as a service
  • Experience in development for large-scale distributed systems
  • Very good problem-solving and analytical skills with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis
  • Proficiency in designing, API integration, backend development, and server integration
  • Familiarity with business specifications and their implementation
  • Experience with data structures and their practical applications

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior experience in automotive multimedia systems
  • Experience in implementing and validating platform technical specifications
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with Java or Node.js
  • Local candidates preferred due to hybrid work arrangement

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
