At Product Insight, we're in search of a skilled Software Engineer to take charge of our software development efforts. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with other engineering leads to design, develop, and test a diverse range of software solutions. Your involvement spans across all stages of product development, from early prototyping and feasibility analysis to overseeing production deployments. Responsibilities : Work with a cross disciplinary team to identify software and electrical requirements and architecture based on customer needs Design, develop, and test software for a wide range of applications Quickly prototype and determine feasibility of design and technology Participate in design and code reviews Work with management to develop timelines and work schedules Coordinate cross team engineering tasking Provide technical guidance to other software engineers

Skills/Qualifications Required: 5+ years of experience in software development Experience with multiple common software languages (C/C++, Java, Python, etc.) Knowledgeable of a wide range of software layers (firmware to front end) Experience with robotics and computer vision systems Strong understanding of common communication protocols, TCP / UDP, CAN, I2C, SPI, UART etc. Follows good coding practices and has a strong desire for quality Experience with ML pipelines is a plus

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 5+ years of software development is required. Prior experience in a start-up environment is a plus
