Job Title: Director of Operations Finance
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations Finance to lead our finance operations department. The ideal candidate will have 8-13 years of professional experience, with a strong background in finance operations beyond traditional accounting functions. Experience in companies with revenues ranging from $25 million to $200 million, as well as exposure to startups and rapid transformation environments, will be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Managing Active Sales Orders:
- Monitor active sales orders based on predefined quality standards.
- Analyze outliers and develop actionable insights through reports and dashboards.
- Conduct root cause analysis of outlier patterns and collaborate cross-functionally to implement sustainable solutions.
Managing Active Work Orders:
- Oversee active work orders, focusing on quality standards and timely completion.
- Address overdue work order pipelines and support operational teams in resolving bottlenecks.
- Identify reasons for work order delays and design and implement workflow improvements.
Designing Workflows and Dashboards:
- Develop and optimize workflows and dashboards to support evolving business processes.
- Implement automated systems for contract renewals and commission calculations.
- Track and optimize inventory usage and scrap management processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 8-13 years of progressive experience in finance operations, preferably in companies with revenues between $25 million and $200 million.
- Proven track record of leadership and strategic decision-making in dynamic environments.
- Experience outside of pure accounting functions, such as financial analysis, process improvement, and project management.
- Previous experience in startups or companies undergoing rapid transformation is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools and dashboard creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
