*Restoration Dental *is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Southfield, MI. We are a private practice that is focused on providing the best care for our patients and building a team that supports their success.

*Responsibilities*
* Perform pre-operative and post-operative examinations;
* Prepare patients for treatments and ensure their comfort;
* Select, set up and sterilize instruments and equipment;
* Provide oral hygiene supplies and equipment;
* Assist the dentist through all stages of dental treatment as needed
* Maintain accurate records;
* Make sure patients periodontal charting is up to date
* Taking appropriate x-rays
* Taking intra-oral photos and scans
* Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked;
* Schedule patient appointments;
* Inform patients of any changes in office procedures or dental services;
* Supply educational materials as needed;
* Ensure all paperwork is completed and sent to patients in a timely manner;

Experience is not required but experience as a Dental Hygienist in a private practice is preferred.

Experience in using an EMR system is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 36 per week
