The Product Manager/Buyer is responsible for merchandise sourcing, catalog creation, and maintaining supplier relationships, while focusing on pricing negotiations and process documentation. Responsibilities: Maintain relationships with industry manufacturer reps and other open market suppliers Review, select and contract merchandise from suppliers based on several objectives including award mix, profitability, price points, rebates, advertising allowances, target market and audience demographics Focused negotiations on pricing Establish target pricing and profitability by item and category for review and approval with Manager Establish and document processes including item return & substitution protocol and manage process with internal team Source, present, build and manage curated lists Source, secure and order personal orders Qualifications: Required: Four-year degree from accredited institution 2+ years of experience as product manager or buyer Strong communications skills and ability to interact with non-technical and technical people Strong quality assurance skills/attention to detail Up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, MSRP, etc. Functional understanding of Augeos recognition technology platforms Preferred: International shipping and customs requirements knowledge Company: Augeo is a global leader in engagement platform technologies and data-driven experiences that foster people connections and cultivate brand advocates worldwide.
