Job Summary
As a Caf admin for Flagship you will be responsible for maintaining the Chef's calendar and various other admin responsibilities of the kitchen. You will be responsible for creating signage for the caf with each ingredient listed along with allergens symbols if necessary. Knowledge of food allergens and ingredients is important. You will be responsible for communicating with HR and Recruiting needs for uniforms, time off request, absences, and so forth.Job Description
Essential Functions
Monitor and organize Chef's schedule for sous chef and executive chef Creating weekly menu cards with allergens and proper ingredients used for breakfast, lunch and dinner. VERY IMPORTANT-Meticulous with editing, proof reading and correcting weekly menus to ensure correct spelling,
punctuation to distribute to kitchen team.
Correspond with HR department about employees including vacation requests and sick leave. Request office inventory and supplies from purchasers and alerting maintenance team to repair
kitchen equipment to ensure safety.
Input data for prep list, recap data entry of daily meal consumptions by employees and guests.

Knowledge and Skills
Excel, Word Document, Publisher and Outlook Ability to work under pressure and adjust to diverse working environment Prioritizing multi assignments with time sensitivity. Food knowledge/ understanding of industry terms and products
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma 2+ years of industry related experience

Requirements
Must have and maintain an active Food Handlers Card, as required by the California Health Department. Must possess a strong understanding and knowledge of food
Physical Demands
Some heavy lifting 10-20 lbs Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision for safe navigation of work area and use of equipment Standing, walking, bending/twisting, and balance are all required to perform job task Possible sitting to perform desk work such as typing; up to 7 hours a day
