Ceco (an ASSA ABLOY company) is expanding our Operations Management Team. This role will be based on-site out of our manufacturing facility located in Milan, Tennessee.
What would you do as our Production Manager?
You will play a pivotal role in managing our manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining our high standards of quality and safety. You will lead, develop, and train a team, coordinate production schedules, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency.
You would also:
+ Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
+ Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.
+ Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
+ Implement lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
+ Drive participation in GEMBA communication boards in all departments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to resolve production issues and drive process improvements.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
+ Drive initiatives to enhance employee training and development, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
+ Perform other duties and special projects as required.
+ Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
+ Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
The Skills and Experience you need:
+ High School degree required.
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing and accomplishing goals through your team.
+ Previous experience in the door, hardware, architectural, building products or a related industry is highly desired.
+ Demonstrated track record of implementing LEAN manufacturing methodologies.
+ Previous MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) training preferred.
+ Previous experience leading KAIZEN events preferred.
+ Excellent communication and time management skills.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under tight time deadlines.
