**Purchasing Receiver**

Be the point person for all product and merchandise deliveries to New Pi.

**What You'll Do:**

Receive and sign off on all product deliveries.

Communicate with delivery drivers, vendors, customers, administrative support and team members daily.

Perform tasks associated with inventory and audit functions.

Use software to code, input, reconcile and distribute all invoices received.

Project a positive and approachable demeanor to drivers, staff and customers.

Maintain a clean and organized environment both on and off the retail floor.

Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

**What We're Looking For:**

At least 1 year in a retail POS (point of sale), grocery or warehouse environment as a merchandise receiver or inventory auditor.

Demonstrated ability to code and reconcile invoices.

Demonstrated merchandising skills.

Ability to read and understand financial statements related to this position.

Ability to follow through on commitments and work as a constructive team member.

**Additional Details**

The Purchasing Receiver works in a retail grocery, kitchen/bakery and office environment.

This role is key in the verification of products received, quality assurance and accuracy of our Point of Sale (POS) database. It requires receiving packaged and perishable products, directly from delivery drivers and vendors, and ensuring accurate invoices and product quality. In addition to the retail floor, general computer, phone, and office requirements, there will be frequent periods, operating a forklift/pallet jack, working in walk in coolers and kitchen/bakery production areas. The position requires bending, reaching, walking, standing and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

This skills-based position requires a committed schedule to include opening, closing, weekend, and holiday shifts on a regular basis.
