The Controller will oversee all financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

This client is a well-known NFP organization.
Description
- Manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
- Proven working experience as a Controller in a non-profit organization.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
