The purpose of an HR Coordinator is to support the human resources department in various administrative and

operational tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR processes and the overall efficiency of

the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•Deliver appropriate reporting and manage proactive communication with the US HR Director

•Assist with job postings and advertising positions.

•Coordinate interview schedules, communicate with candidates and conduct preliminary interviews

•Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed.

•Process background checks and drug screens through current provider for all new hires.

•Verify and maintain I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.

•Create and maintain personnel files for new and existing personnel

•Support payroll processing by ensuring timesheets and attendance records are accurate.

•Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.

•Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.

•Coordinate the offboarding process for employees that terminate from the company, including preparing offboarding documents and ensuring necessary paperwork is completed

•Serve as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

•Support conflict resolution and mediation efforts.

•Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

•Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

•Conduct audits of HR processes to ensure adherence to policies and legal standards.

•Track employee training progress and certifications.

•Manage HR-related correspondence and documentation.

•Provide general administrative support to the HR team and other departments as needed.

•Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

•High School or Equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred

•1-3 years of experience in human resources or a related administrative role

•Familiarity with employment labor laws and regulations

•Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook

•Detail oriented and organized

•Ability to multitask

Core Competencies:

Core competencies requirements for this position include applicable education, training or certifications, previous experience, and on-the-job training, and are documented in the training plan for the position. Competency is evaluated beginning on date of hire and will be verified after all job function and evaluation requirements are completed. Additional

tasks may be required as business needs dictate. Individual goal plans will be defined, and performance indicators may be modified as technologies and market conditions evolve.

Working Conditions:

Generally works in office environment, sitting at a desk, working on a computer, repetitive motion with a requirement to be visible in the shop environment. Regional travel required on an occasional basis.
