Puget Sound Veterinary Specialists is a new specialty hospital in the heart of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. PSVS is currently building a state-of-the-art, comprehensive, 24 hour ER and specialty clinic in Gig Harbor, Washington. The Opportunity

PSVS is looking for a second internist to join the internal medicine team, which started in June 2021. Help build the internal medicine service of your dreams and contribute to the culture and development of the growing hospital Our current internist is board-certified, experienced, and enjoys working alongside seasoned internists, as well as mentoring new residency graduates. We have a brand new Storz endoscopy tower and all the accessories needed for successful scoping. Our client and referral base are dedicated and willing to pursue advanced care and diagnostics. Here, you will have the support of the other specialties at PSVS, including surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, dentistry, and critical care.

We recently completed construction of our state-of-the-art, 21,000 sf facility in Gig Harbor, Washington. The new facility will include a dedicated ICU including long-term mechanical ventilation, full in-house lab, 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house blood bank and component therapy, I-131 therapy, minimally invasive surgery, flexible and rigid endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and more.

Our ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible ACVIM, values and fosters a hospital culture of compassionate care, promotes teamwork, and is excited about the vision to expand our core values and hospital. Experience or interest in interventional radiology is welcome but not required.
