Category Dental Description The Sterilization Technician provides sterilization of dental instruments and trays including sorting, cleaning, and decontaminating instruments following standard procedures and techniques. Technicians are responsible for inventory control and maintenance, environmental maintenance checks, and may clean or prepare operatories. Technicians also provide clerical duties such as maintaining dental records, scheduling appointments, maintaining adequate supplies, and referring patients to other medical and dental assistance programs.Please Note: This is a part-time position which maintains a schedule of Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 4 PM.When you work with a community health center, you're joining a team that cares about you and makes a difference in the lives of those right here in our community.
