Lead Building Engineer

**Description:**-As a Lead Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring building system operations and performance, utilizing your expertise in plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.-Managing equipment such as air handlers, chillers, pumps, and valves.-Organize and execute a preventative maintenance schedule-Manage an energy management program to operate systems efficiently and reduce operating costs-Maintain the building lighting system while overseeing controls.**Experience:**-MA Refrigeration or Journeyman HVAC license-7 years of building engineer and/or HVAC experience-Knowledge of building management systems and controls (Siemens, Johnson Controls)-Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) and working off work orders**Qualifications:**-Strong organizational skills-Efficient management capabilities-Proactive in maintenance and energy conservation-Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Outlook-Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include customer service-Experience with on-call work preferred for unexpected emergency situations**Work Environment:**-Office/retail building located in a prominent area, encompassing a collection of buildings managed by a major property management firm-Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing during course of day-May be required to lift up to 50 pounds-Work may be performed outdoors to include exposure to weather, fumes, electrical current, and machine noise**Hours:**6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
