Mobile Android Lead

Required skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in mobile application development, with expertise in Android and/or iOS platforms.
  • Experience in leading a team of mobile engineers, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications.
  • Experience building design systems that incorporate framework, practices, tooling, documentation, and customer success teams.
  • Experience in Native Mobile app development (Android devices); hands on Kotlin/RxJava
  • MVVM/Clean Architecture
  • OOP
  • Networking HTTP, SOAP, and REST
  • Advanced Android Platform Skills - Strong knowledge of Android frameworks, familiar with Android design principles and material design
  • Experience setting up and/or maintaining automated build systems with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
  • Experience working with contractors and/or non-US teams.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate between product, UI/UX designers, and engineering teams to build outstanding frontends.
  • Experience working effectively with version control/Code-Review tools like Git, GitHub, etc., and within Agile development processes.
  • Dedication to a solid management philosophy and execution that fosters growth of individual team members and drives a cohesive motivated team.
  • Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines.
