As an Associate, you will work directly with a team of seasoned professional accountants to support Brown Edwards' tax clients. The successful Tax Associate candidate will be on track to obtain their CPA designation. You will be assigned a mentor who will guide your professional development as your career progresses with Brown Edwards. This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your accounting expertise and skill set to grow a top 100 accounting firm.

What Your Day Looks Like
  • Prepare various tax returns including corporation, individual, partnership and fiduciary income tax returns of various levels of complexity
  • Import various data sets including working trial balances from clients' files to Brown Edwards' workpaper files
  • Research complex regulatory tax requirements as they relate to Brown Edwards' clients' needs
What You Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field
  • Working towards CPA designation
  • Understanding of corporate, partnership, and individual tax laws
