The Opportunity We're seeking a Board‐Certified or Board‐Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team in a dedicated nocturnal role. This is a unique opportunity to provide high‐impact care during overnight hours — managing labor, deliveries, and emergent OB/GYN consults — while enjoying a flexible schedule and a supportive clinical environment. Whether you're an experienced hospitalist or a generalist looking to transition into a more focused, shift‐based model, this role offers autonomy, stability, and lifestyle balance. What You'll Do Provide overnight hospitalist coverage (e.g., 7 PM – 7 AM or similar) • Manage laboring patients, perform deliveries (including C‐sections), and respond to OB/GYN emergencies • Collaborate with anesthesiology, neonatology, nursing, and on‐call providers • Ensure seamless handoffs and maintain clear, timely documentation • Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards in all aspects of care What We're Looking For MD or DO with completed OB/GYN residency • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology • Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) • Strong clinical skills in labor & delivery, triage, and emergent OB/GYN care • Excellent communicator and team player, especially in high‐acuity situations • Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts Why Join Emerald Coast OBGYN?
