We are seeking a motivated Neurorobotics Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of democratizing robotics technology. Job Description: The Neurorobotics Specialist will help develop biologically inspired neural circuits for robots, using our cutting-edge Neurorobotics Studio platform founded on the open-source technology FEAGI. This role involves research, development, and the dissemination of knowledge through educational materials, publications, and presentations at conferences. Responsibilities: Design and implement biologically inspired neural architectures for robotics applications. Develop simulation algorithms and models for neural processes to support robotic behaviors. Collaborate on experiments and validate systems through simulation and physical testing. Write and contribute to the production of high-quality technical documentation, research publications, and educational materials. Present research findings and represent Neuraville at national and international conferences. Participate in grant writing to secure funding for innovative projects. Create educational and training materials to support the understanding and dissemination of neurorobotics knowledge. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Strong background in neuroscience and neural circuitry as applied to robotics. Proficiency in Python; additional programming skills are beneficial. Demonstrated experience in scientific research with a publication record. Excellent technical writing and communication skills. Experience in educational and training material development. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Nice to Have: Familiarity with BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) technology. Proficiency in electronic circuit design and robot control systems, with a thorough understanding of kinematics and inverse kinematics. Experience in computational and cognitive neuroscience, with the ability to apply these principles to enhance the functionality and effectiveness of neurorobotic systems. Experience in signal processing, translational biology, and developmental biology. Proven ability in grant writing. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning applications in neurorobotics. Hands-on experience with robotics hardware and electronic circuitry. Why Join Us?
