The established tech company is building a "skunkworks" team to build new web and mobile platforms, all new engineering, no support or maintenance of legacy systems Direct Hire FTE role with a small team that works hybrid 3 days a week in Phoenix.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior React.js Engineer to join our dynamic development team. As a Senior React.js Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user interfaces for our web applications. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and ES6, with a strong preference for those who have hands-on experience with Next.js and GraphQL.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality web applications.
  2. Design and implement efficient, reusable, and scalable React.js components and features.
  3. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
  4. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in web development technologies.
  5. Work closely with the UX/UI design team to ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
  6. Actively contribute to the development of an event-based system, incorporating the latest cloud-native technologies.
  7. Adopt and leverage A.I. tools in the software development cycle to enhance product functionality, optimize system performance, and improve user experience.
  8. Showcase innovation, continuous learning, and leadership in a high-paced environment, demonstrating a growth mindset and problem-solving skills.
  9. Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a React.js developer with a focus on building responsive and user-friendly web applications.
  2. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and ES6.
  3. Experience with Next.js and GraphQL is highly desirable.
  4. Solid understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and component-based architecture.
  5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web development tools.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
