**Description**

ProActive Physical Therapy Specialists is looking for a **full-time** Care Coordinator Float for our Central Oregon, clinics- Prineville and Redmond.

The float would be responsible for covering both our Redmond and Prineville office. **This person must be ok with receiving texts early in the morning to come to work the same day**. We give as much notice as possible, but sometimes we do not know until the last minute. Advance notice regarding coverage for vacation and maternity leave would be given.

Floats are a very important position, and we rely on them heavily for coverage. The Float must be able to work between *the hours of 7:00 am and 6:30 pm,* as their hours will be based upon the needs of the clinic. We need a responsible person who will be available to work when called and give us notice for the day (s) they are not available. You would have set of 30-40 hours a week + benefits. We offer mileage reimbursement. This could turn into a full-time position at a permanent location if one becomes available.

**A summary of job responsibilities includes:**

* Front desk scheduling

* Greeting patients, and checking them in and out for appointments

* Answering phones and email inquiries

* Collecting co-pays and other fees required prior to office visits

* Obtaining pre-authorizations for patient visits

* Insurance re-verifications and authorizations

* Data entry, running reports, auditing, and filing

* Maintaining the front desk and reception areas

* Patient and physician interaction on the phone, and in-person.

* Managing, updating, and charting patient records in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system

* Additional duties as assigned

Previous medical/dental front office, administrative, customer service, or front office experience is a definite must. History of working with insurance benefits, pre-authorization, and approval is preferred. If this sounds exciting to you, and you have previous front office experience, we would love to meet you
