Job Summary: As a Senior Auditor, you will play a crucial role as the in-charge or manager of internal audits, outsourced audits, and various tasks within the Audit Department. Training and guidance to Staff Auditors and Interns, as well as participation in risk assessments and special projects, are key components of this role. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform testing in high and moderate risk areas, covering financial, operations, compliance, wealth management, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. Conduct process analysis, key control analysis, and walkthroughs in identified areas. Identify findings, control weaknesses, root causes, and associated risks during testing and analysis, providing recommendations for improvement. Prepare formal audit reports for internal audits. Serve as the in-charge or manager of internal and outsourced audits. Provide training and guidance to Staff Auditors and Interns. Handle various Audit Department tasks, including Audit Committee package preparation, external auditor requests, regulatory requests, and follow-up testing. Participate in the annual planning process by preparing risk assessments for the risk-based audit plan. Undertake special projects for the Audit Department, as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or compensating work experience. 3+ years of internal audit experience in banking and/or financial services. Professional certification preferred but not required Team player with accuracy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective prioritization. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven work experience with Microsoft Office and Excel. This position will work on a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite) based in Northwest Indiana and offers competitive salary and benefits.
