Electrical Design Engineer

Partner with the best

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for defining the equipment necessary for wiring and instrumentation installed on our gearboxes. In this capacity you will be responsible for:

Processing and managing all orders, either as an “ Instrumentation/Wiring

Designer” or as a supervisor of the subcontractor responsible for carrying out the work.

Providing expertise to the engineering and manufacturing teams in relation to electrical certifications for hazardous areas.

Creating or validating wiring plan drawings and instrumentation parts.

Collaborating with project managers, suppliers, customers, and other functions to ensure electrical design accuracy.

Carrying out the instrumentation integration review with the engineer in charge of mechanical design.

Creating and documenting new engineering work procedures and standards in relation to electrical design.

Checking the conformity of the equipment concerning standards and specifications and providing support during inspection upon receipt.

Participating in the implementation of the machine monitoring solutions.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical, mechanical, or industrial.

Have knowledge and proof of experience working with hazardous area standards for explosive zones such as ATEX, IECEX, etc.

Be familiar with 3D and 2D CAD design software like PTC CREO

Have experience with various measuring equipment for rotating machinery.

Be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
