Job Title: C & I Engineer II Job Location: Plano, TX 75023 Job Type: 6+ Month Contract

Description: Provide support to multi-functional team of R&D, Program Management, Core Networking, RF Engineering, Transport and Technical/Training Support to fulfill multi-technology wireless network deployment across customer markets.

• Responsible for Commissioning RAN equipment • Work and assist other Engineering teams with remote commissioning of CDMA/LTE RAN equipment. • Provide guidance to customers on integration, commissioning, and onsite support during network cut over for new markets. • Possess the ability and flexibility to work 24X7 schedule and/or on-call environment • Support Field and RF Engineers with parameters changes, clearing alarms, etc. • Assist with training junior/entry level Commissioning engineers on daily tasks and responsibilities. • Conduct moderately-complex and detailed engineering, analytical, and functional analysis for the Commissioning team. • Lead issues to resolution, while maintaining professionalism in all communications with both internal and external contacts. This included multitasking and driving issues to resolution. • Applies strong troubleshooting skills and ability to mentor junior engineers. • Provide timely feedback on process/procedural improvements and operational inefficiencies. • Complete tasks required to maintain service levels and availability of all site features and function. • Responsible for routine or standard technical problems and responds to standard requests from internal and external customers. • Make decisions within guidelines and policies. Is accountable for the contributions of the project sub-team. • Responsible for the operational performance of the department. Directs the resolution of complex operational and organizational problems.

Qualifications: • Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in engineering (EE, CE, ME, CS, or equivalent technical degree) with 4-6 years of industry experience. • Prior experience and/or proven ability to develop, train, and supervise junior Commissioning Engineers. • Prior experience in commissioning engineering activities required. • Very knowledgeable of Wireless Network and Mobile Interworking (Core, BSC, RAN or IP) network elements. • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to take ownership, and the ability to identify and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment. • The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with multiples levels within the company and with external contacts. • Demonstrated English language competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external communications, especially in training of repair technicians communications of troubleshooting techniques. • Work under very little supervision and guidance to identify and ensure achievement of team goals and to complete individual work assignments within established time frames. • The demonstrated ability to solve problems involving highly diverse conditions requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned things. • Interact with all levels within the organization and has frequent external contacts.
