Quality Supervisor

A local company who manufacturers beverages and food products and is experiencing significant growth is searching for a Quality Supervisor to assist with the management and development of technicians, schedules and trends in the Quality Department.

This is a robust position that will play a crucial role in the success of the company by

ensuring the integrity and consistency of products by overseeing quality assurance processes, managing instrumentation, and leading a team of direct reports.

Duties will consist of the following: Managing a team of technicians Scheduling day to day activities Coordination with the Production Supervisor for various work initiatives and production goals Manage and maintain instrumentation, including but not limited to, spectrophotometers, pH meters, refractometers, and other analytical equipment used in quality testing Conduct routine inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished products to identify deviations, defects, or areas for improvement Development and maintaining of work materials such as SOPs and quality records in accordance with industry standards Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence

In order to be considered for the position, qualified candidates must have the following: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field required; advanced degree preferred A solid understanding of quality management principles Hands-on experience in food or beverage manufacturing, and expertise in food safety GFSI standards, such as FSSC 22000, Quality Management ISO 9001 or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within the food or beverage manufacturing industry Stable job history displaying longevity in past positions and growth in roles and responsibilities Prior leadership experience Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity. Strong analytical skills Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed to support production schedules and business needs Bilingual English and Spanish are preferred Please submit your resume for immediate consideration and an opportunity to interview.
