Description:

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/training

4 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments

2+ years of Microservice framework / REST development

Top Skillsets according to the HM:

4 years minimum of Java (highly prefer at least 6 years minimum)

Must be using Java 11+ recently

Test-driven development

General cloud and Kubernetes expertise

Hands-on development life cycle and able to support product from A to Z

Priorities for resume: Java is #1, Cloud/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

6 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience

2+ years of Kubernetes Services with a deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Proficiency in Full Stack Development

Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:

J2EE technologies: Java11+, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB

Cloud-based development: Kubernetes and Docker

Web Servers: Tomcat, Websphere

Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)

Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot

Build/deployment tools: Maven, Git, JUnit, Mockito

Other Dev Ops Toolchain: GitHub and Azure DevOps Azure Data Explorer, and Elastic Search

Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting, IBM MQ/Rabbit MQ, Redis Cache

Experience with TDD and BDD development pattern

Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles

Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM

Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

Education: Bachelors Degree
