The Field Service Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for supporting the needs of our customers, which directly impacts patient health and overall well-being.This position is part of the Service Organization in Memphis, TN and will be remote, traveling a territory in and around the Memphis area. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.You will be a part of the Field Service Team and report to the Area Service Manager responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs on Radiometer equipment. If you thrive in a fast-paced role and want to work to build a world-class service organization-read on.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Install, repair, calibrate, clean and test instruments using logical troubleshooting procedures in a timely manner.Build and maintain positive customer relationships. Review solutions with customers; discuss needs and ensure a safe operation situation.Maintain a field parts inventory, testing devices and tools. Maintain clean and safe working environment at the customer site and in the company vehicle.The essential requirements of the job includeOne-year Field Service Engineer or related experience - prefer medical fieldAS - Technical Associates Degree or Electronic Technology Diploma and/or Military experienceBasic troubleshooting experience in: Electromechanical, Networking or IT system upgrades.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel - Up to 30-35% overnight travel, within territory includes: (TN, AR, Jackson, MS )Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Proficiency with analyzer network/connectivity setup and support directly to Laboratory Information System/Health Care Information systems.Preferred Comp TI A+ certification.At Radiometer we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
