Baer is looking for Cloud Operations Kubernetes Lead for a 3-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Cloud Operations Kubernetes Lead
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the administration, operations, and support of the AWS environment for critical applications.
  • Drive the operations support for all development teams, facilitating code promotions, and ensuring the effective use of Helm and Flyway across environments.
  • Act as the Development Lead, tackling the most complex coding assignments for enhancements and new releases.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture standards and guidelines.
  • Coordinate effectively across teams and systems, ensuring all developers within the team have clear direction and support for their tasks.
Requirements:
  • Profound expertise in Linux and Shell Scripting.
  • Strong experience with Helm, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
  • Experience with Kafka and AWS preferred
  • Familiarity with database management and operations in Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
