•Coverage of Safety responsibilities in a specific area as assigned for scheduled days of the week. •Safety/OSHA monitoring for compliance •Assist with Incident investigations/responses in assigned area •TM Behavioral & Procedural Monitoring in assigned areas •Identify, document, and Abate Hazards/Near-Misses •Engage TMs with Safety discussions •Supervisor/Lead Safety Guidance Support •Facilitate and conduct Trainings for TMs •Facilitate and conduct Weekly Inspections •Lead root-cause analysis for investigations as assigned •Assist with hands-on qualification and dept-specific Safety trainings •Safety Work Order entry and follow-up •Support audits, investigations, and TM well-being •Train Safety Captain members as backups(cross-training) •Facilitate Departmental Daily Safety Huddles •Verification of pre-operational inspections(PIT) •Verification of LOTO procedures •Verification of effectiveness of preventative measures •Escalation of high-priority concerns to the organization •Escalation of issues to Prod. Mgt & Safety Mgt when needed •Operations Support •Assist with accomplishing Supt Safety Plans •Other duties/projects as assigned
