Cook Join our award-winning family of hotels at the Hilton Garden Inn Rochester as a Breakfast Cook We're looking for a dependable team member to work 12 days per week, supporting our breakfast operations in a warm, fast-paced hotel kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a friendly and professional team in a select service hotel environment. Position Summary This role focuses exclusively on breakfast preparation at our select service property. Guests enjoy both made-to-order and buffet-style offerings each morning, and you'll be the key to starting their day off right. Shift hours are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, perfect for early risers looking to finish their day by noon. Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and hotel standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen area Monitor food temperatures and ensure food safety compliance Assist in setup and breakdown of buffet stations and prep areas Collaborate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction during breakfast service Adhere to Hilton brand standards and local health department regulations Qualifications Previous kitchen or breakfast cook experience preferred Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and a team player Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable with early morning shifts (start time: 4:00 AM) Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
