Responsibilities The Product Manager (Fintech) will be the visionary and driver behind GoFree's user-centric solutions. Here's what the role entails: User Research and Insights: Dive deep into the needs and pain points of African users, gathering insights through surveys, interviews, and data analysis. This understanding will guide product decisions that resonate with our customers' unique financial challenges and aspirations. Roadmap Development: Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and design teams to create a strategic product roadmap that prioritizes impactful features. The roadmap will include features like USD deposits, payment layers in chats, and other innovative solutions for users across the continent. Feature Development and Testing: Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring features are designed with user needs in mind. This includes defining requirements, coordinating with engineering on development, and leading user testing for feedback-driven refinements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure seamless product launches and effective go-to-market strategies. This collaboration helps ensure that each new feature reaches and resonates with our target users. Data-Driven Optimization: Regularly analyze product performance, using metrics and user feedback to drive iterative improvements.
