This Forbes 4-Star hotel has over 500 rooms, 60,000 square of feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes 2 restaurants, a lounge, and in-room dining.

Various - must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Union Position:

This position is part of the Local 501 Union which requires complete open availability. We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established.You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week. What is required as an Engineer Apprentice?

Work under the immediate and close supervision of a journeyman Engineer or higher position. Learn the operation, maintenance, and repair of various machinery and equipment through diversified experience, on-the-job training, and related formal instruction. Expected to complete all on-the-job and academic training as set forth by the State of California, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards. Required to maintain satisfactory progress in all levels of the program. Want to learn more?

What will I be doing?

As an Engineer Apprentice, you will assist Engineers and trains with Engineers / trade mechanics to learn to maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

Perform a variety of repair and maintenance and cleaning tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry. Inspect guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance. Maintain detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments. Perform additional office-related work (i.e. receives deliveries, runs errands for parts, etc.). What are we looking for?

Pay Rate:
