Our client, a massive construction company, is seeking a Sr
Accountant to join our team as part of one of their projects-a large $3.3B project
In this role, you'll be the right hand person to the Project Coordinator helping prepare financials, analyzing reports, and maintaining records, among other tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed financial statements and associated schedules in accordance with corporate timelines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Assist in monthly closure procedures to ensure timely financial reporting, maintaining meticulous records throughout the process.
- Perform reconciliations for various accounts, including cash, liabilities, fixed assets, and payroll accruals.
- Support budget development and monitoring efforts to enable informed decision-making by project stakeholders.
- Manage payment processes, maintain comprehensive records, and coordinate fund transfers with financial institutions.
- Provide administrative support essential for the smooth operation of project activities.
- Review invoices, manage petty cash balances, and oversee replenishments and disbursements efficiently.
- Assist with tax filing and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Contribute to inventory management, accurately recording fixed assets and stock information.
- Provide auditing services for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring financial integrity and accountability.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or similar large-scale projects.

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience in construction or related sectors.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments.
- Proven initiative, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and data analysis.
