FTE Duties & Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain robust secure network solutions including firewalls, VPNs (covering site-to-site, remote access, and cloud-based connections), and ACLs. Monitor and manage LANs and WANs, including configuration and management of network devices. Collaborate with other IT teams for seamless network integration and support. Create, update, and maintain documentation of environment, network configuration, and operational procedures. Collaborate with IT Security team to implement Network Access Control (NAC), access control lists (ACLs), firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, and developing network security policies and procedures. Provide technical support to internal users and external stakeholders. Provide project management for various network activities, including upgrades, implementations, and migrations. Manage and optimize cloud network environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), including configuration, security, and resource optimization. Collaborate with external clients throughout the network lifecycle, delivering reliable and secure solutions that address their specific needs, from initial assessment to successful change implementation.

Requirements & Skills: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

certifications/training/experience

in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years in network engineering. experience

in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level network infrastructure. Expert experience with firewall technologies Familiarity with network security best practices and frameworks. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and management tools. Proven experience and success with LAN, WLAN, Firewalls and VPN design and implementation. Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ITIL Foundation certification (Preferred). Professional certification (ex: CCNA, CCSA, JNCIS-ENT, CompTIA Network+, GSEC) (Preferred). Experience managing cloud network environments (Azure, GCP, AWS preferred), and familiarity with cloud automation tools (Preferred).
