South Brazoria County’s premier healthcare system St. Luke’s Health–Brazosport Hospital is dedicated to providing quality care with compassion for the communities we serve.**Responsibilities**Develops and designs quality treatment plans and Performs dosimetry calculations for optimization of external beam. Performs all treatment planning for Radiation Oncology patients, including calculations, treatment planning computeroperation and CT planning.1. Designs, plans and evaluates complex and specialized dosimetry cases, including the calculation of volumetric and dose information and portal images for radiation oncology treatments which involve computer controlled segmentalconformal 3. dimensional treatment techniques2. Regularly Assists in patient simulation with tumor localization, including analysis of CT and MRI for treatment planning3. Assists as needed in patient simulation, in field localization and in acquisition of dosimetry data4. Obtains manual contours and measurements of patients to assure proper treatment plan5. Performs in?vivo measurements, using measurement tools such as thermoluminescent dosimeters and diodes6. Assists in the fabrication of custom block modifications, bolus compensators, casting, masks, wedges, shields and any other beam or patient?positioning modifying devices**Qualifications**+ Must be eligible for certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board+ Must be credentialed as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board, within 2 years of start of employment+ Board Eligible+ Demonstrates a working knowledge of dosimetry, simulation and radiation treatment equipment**Pay Range**$49.20 - $71.34 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
