Director of Finance (39615)

Our client is an organization in the Appleton area looking for a Director of Finance. Our client is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. This company offers a strong team culture and flexibility. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is $100k.

The Director of Finance will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for all financial functions, ensuring appropriate controls and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.
  • Create or assist in the creation of cross-departmental teams to advance strategic priorities.
  • Participates in the development of comprehensive, accurate and timely financial reports including but not limited to: monthly cash flow analyses, budget to actual variance analyses, financial trend analyses and recommended fiscal controls.
  • Trains staff in proper procedures regarding cash receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting as needed or requested.
  • Ensure records are up-to date, accurate, and organized. Prioritize and organize multiple tasks and responsibilities in a way that meets daily responsibilities while continuing to work toward longer-term objectives.
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting.

The Director of Finance will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • 6+ years of experience with some experience in non-profit managing grants.
  • Thorough knowledge of budgeting & accounting processes and procedures of non-profit.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.
