Position Overview:
  • Collaborate on various client service engagement teams that support a wide range of clients
  • Prepare complex consolidated and standalone corporate federal and state income tax returns for selected clients
  • Demonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operations
  • Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects as required, with the goal of minimizing tax expense
  • Demonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations
  • Exhibit strong commitment to delivering high quality tax services
Qualifications Sought:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 1 year income tax preparation in a corporate tax department, professional services firm, or mid-sized/regional to large-sized/national public accounting firm
  • Experience in automated tax processing systems and online tax research tools: ONESOURCE, CCH, RIA & BNA
  • Experience with online tax research tools (CCH, RIA, BNA)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
  • This is a hybrid position that requires working in the NYC office at least two days per week and/or at local client sites as needed based on business needs
  • Salary Range: $68,455 - $87,680 plus up to 10% annual bonus
