Teaches patients and their families about treatment expectations and procedures. Completes necessary patient forms such as FMLA, disability, and letters of medical necessity. Assists the benefits team in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and infusion-related treatments. Facilitates communication by answering voicemails, emails, texts, and Microsoft Teams messages. Develops and implements individualized care plans for patients, coordinating various aspects of oncologic patient care. Triages and treats cancer-related issues, including administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatments. Inputs chemotherapy treatment orders as per the ordering physician and coordinates treatment appointments with the infusion center. Monitors patient adherence to oral chemotherapy medications and all other medications ordered by the physician. The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of NursingBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Pay Range: $31.53 - $52.24 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
