Job Responsibilities

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient service to hotel guests.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

Provide safe transportation to all guests using the hotel's shuttle vehicles.

Read log book daily, keep up to date on in-house groups and functions.

Coordinate luggage storage, issue proper luggage tags, store bags properly.

Make guestroom deliveries of packages, valet laundry, luggage and other items accurately.

Ensure guest deliveries and luggage are brought to the correct rooms.

Assist with snow removal including brushing off cars, shoveling and salting walkways as necessary.

Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of shuttle vehicles.

Provide guests with directions and information regarding the city and immediate area.

Provide current information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel and surrounding areas.

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance and surrounding areas.

Assist in other departments as required.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated Van Driver with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

1 to 3 months related experience; High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Maintain a valid Drivers License with no major violations.

Solid time-management and prioritization skills

Exceptional customer service skills
