Description

Haun Welding Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to manage and coordinate the purchasing process for multiple vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be capable of building and maintaining positive relations with vendors and sales team.

Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and completeness

- Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules

- Oversee vendor credits and returns to ensure timely resolution

- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities

- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely delivery of products

- Continuously monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field

- Working knowledge of Accumatica ERP a definite Plus

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software

- Knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures
