Director of Information Technology
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Information Technology with experience in cloud computing and IT service delivery management. Qualified candidates need to have a passion for providing quality customer service. This role reports to the VP of IT Infrastructure and Operations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead and oversee the strategic direction of IT infrastructure with a focus on Azure and AWS cloud technologies.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient operations, security, and service delivery management.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to meet the organization's objectives and budgetary constraints.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals and objectives.
Provide leadership and guidance to a global team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and quality customer service.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT and cloud security.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to support IT initiatives.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of IT experience with 10+ years of IT team leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
Strong organizational skills and experience managing complex IT projects and teams.
Process-oriented mindset with a proven track record of implementing and optimizing IT processes and workflows.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including experience leading global teams.
Ability to handle high pressure situations and prioritize multiple projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Experience in coaching, mentoring and motivating service delivery staff to increase service, staff performance, and end-user satisfaction
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance principles.
Certifications in Azure and AWS are highly desirable.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cloud computing and IT service management.
